New TpT items…
As I am a photographer…I am a teacher first…and I love love love what I do. I, from time to time create some products. I am going to link them here and describe them — check them out if you’d like.
Create – a – Word Problem: This is great to use for two step word problems. The student shades a part of the circle each time they use it. This is to help them create a two step word problem that they can solve.
I used it because my class was struggling with 3.OA.8 with all four operations. The rules were they have to do Multiplication or Division for one step and Addition or Subtraction for the other step. They had to choose two different numbers as well.
The kids loved it! Because it was able to let them choose their own problem to solve.
Behavior Chart: This is a twenty minute behavior system. This is something that I’ve had in place in my classroom this past year for several students. They can pick and choose their goal to work for. This is an amazing resource that can work through K-8th grade I would think.
The best thing about this is that is completely editable. You can change the intervals of time to what works for your students needs. You can change the goals, the resource/lunch times. This is just a base for you to work on.
My suggestion to you would to be laminate it and use it with a dry erase marker.
3-2-1: What does that mean? 3 – Three things you learned, 2 – Two things you found interesting, 1 – One question you still have.
I use these a lot for exit tickets. It’s a good activity to do right after you introduce a brand new concept and you want to see what they learned or got from that lesson. I have also used them in centers — especially at an independent station such as a SmartBoard lesson, have the students watch or view something and there is your accountability for that center. Use however you would like.
Well, there you have it! Some of the newest products that I created. I hope you all can find some use for one of these!
